What to include?

A financial year report should include the following details:

Title of the report:

The title is the primary information to be displayed and it should be positioned on the cover in such a way that it remains the most prominent the reader should not look for the title after seeing the cover. 

Date and time period:

Although the annual report covers the period of one year, your company’s financial year may not start from January. So, it is important to mention the starting and ending dates of the year you have covered the financial details along with the date on which you are designing the cover. 

Name of the author:

The name of the person who has created it should be there on the cover. Usually, it is the employee of the company.
