French Language Project Cover Pages

Universities and schools offer different language courses to the students to make them overcome the language barrier. Learning different languages improves communication skills. The cover page of a language project is a representative page, which provides information about the project’s title, the details of a person to whom the project belongs to and the details of a person who assigns the project. Adding or designing a project cover helps in retrieving key information about the project before reading the project’s content.

It is important to add a cover page for the French Language Project because it makes the project presentable and can help in obtaining the required marks. A good presentation of the project makes the project stand out among other projects and helps in securing relatively higher grades.

The cover page for the French Language should cover fundamental essentials. But, before designing the cover page it is important to know the requirements of the project submission, such as:

  • Language used for Cover Page. -the instructor who has assigns the project may require the students to design the cover page in a way that the text added on the cover page is also translated in the French Language, while few instructors may require the students to add information on cover page in English Language, followed by French content for the language project, Thus, one should clearly know the requirements.
  • Font type, style and size – the French language instructor may require the students to design the cover page with specific font type, size and style, Hence, the instructions need to be followed
  • Simple or Customized Design – if there are no restrictions for designing a cover page, then the cover page can either be simple or with customized design. For a customized design, one may add image or background color which complements the font and theme or title of the language project
  • Formatting Style – the formatting style could be followed as per the guidelines defined by American Psychological Association (APA), Modern Language Association (MLA), Chicago, etc.

Once the instructions for designing a French Language cover page are clear, then the cover page should be designed in a way that it covers essentials, as mentioned below:

  • Project title – the title of the project cover should be bold and clear. The topics may range from history to story writing and much more
  • Course name and code – the course name and code should be mentioned. Different universities of educational boards assign codes to the courses, if any such code exists for the language course, then it should also be mentioned on the cover page
  • Student’s details – the details of the student who submits the project should be clearly mentioned along with his/her student Id (as assigned by the institute), this helps in grading the project for the student
  • Instructor’s details – the name of the instructor to whom the project is being submitted should also be mentioned to avoid the project getting misplaced
  • Submission date – mentioning submission date serves as proof of timely submission
